Survey LinkIf you have already taken this survey, please do not take it again.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for day-to-day operations of front desk, scheduling, schedule management, and associated administrative office functions.Manages and oversees the daily administrative staffing and processes for patient flow and delivery of high-quality customer service, including PSC staff scheduling, performance accountability, and professional development.Manages and administers administrative and scheduling policies and procedures.Acts as liaison between physicians and admin staff and processes.Participates in meetings, workgroup, and quality assurance and process improvementCoordinates office procedures with front office, medical staff, and billing office to ensure smooth flow of information within departmentsPerforms schedule utilization and design analysis, communicates schedule design recommendations to physicians and leadership, develops schedule templates, and provides management and oversight of office schedules.Develops and maintains a professional department that assists the organization toward its goal of delivering efficient, effective, high quality, and cost effective administrative support in the delivery of healthcare services.Evaluates new technology and make recommendations for front office and scheduling to the practice managerRecruits, hires, evaluates, and trains office staff as required.Prepares and conducts training sessions with admin staff in collaboration with the administrative staff training and development officeOther duties as requested or assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferredProficiency with computer systems and Microsoft (Outlook, Office Word, and Excel) requiredExcellent customer service, organizational skills and communication required5 years of healthcare management required, with at least 2 years in supervisory capacityPrevious supervisory experience in a medical office environment strongly preferredMust be willing to travel to other office locations as neededPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
