Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - (Due to ITAR US Citizen Required)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks, perform engineering analyses and simulations, and support the production floor with design changes or process improvements. Collaboration with the testing department to develop and build test components will be essential, as well as utilizing ERP for all data management related to products.ResponsibilitiesDesign parts, drawings, and large assemblies within SolidWorks.Perform engineering analyses and simulations.Provide support to the production floor for design changes or process improvements.Collaborate with the testing department to develop and build test components.Utilize ERP for all data management related to products.Essential SkillsExperience in mechanical design using SolidWorks.Knowledge of machine building, welding, or fabrication methods.Experience with metals, fabricated and welded machine parts.Understanding of GD&T and electromechanical design.Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree.3+ years of experience, with co-ops and internships considered as experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications* SolidWorks CAD experience.* Experience in fabrication and weldment.Work EnvironmentThe majority of your time will be spent in an office environment with significant collaboration with the production floor for design changes or during testing phases. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a product line for military and defense.
