With the training and support we provide, Lot Technicians play an important role in maintaining our high standards of service, organization, and operational efficiency.This position performs a variety of warehouse and yard functions, including receiving and processing inventory, organizing materials, preparing orders, and maintaining equipment and yard conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and verifying deliveriesPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or deliverySort and store materials in racks, shelves, or bins according to company standardsPerform yard inspections of equipment and maintain yard organizationOpen and process bales, crates, and containersPrepare parcels for shipping and mailingMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPerform routine light maintenance and pre-inspections on equipmentOperate and maintain forklifts and material handling equipmentUse forklifts and overhead cranes to move equipment and components safelyFollow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Support other shop or warehouse functions as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred1-2 years of related experience preferredStrong communication, organizational, and time management skillsBasic math and computer/data entry skillsGeneral mechanical knowledgeAbility to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranesDependable, reliable, and safety-focusedPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentFrequent walking and working on uneven terrainRegular lifting of 50+ poundsUse of hands and arms to operate tools and equipmentClimbing in and out of equipmentAbility to work in various positions, including kneeling and lying under equipmentExposure to varying weather conditionsCommunication via radio, phone, and in personAbility to hear and identify mechanical or operational issues in a shop or yard environmentBenefitsPaid sick leave, vacation, and holidays100% employer-paid medical premiums for employees and familiesDental and vision coverage401(k)/Roth with company matchQuarterly and annual bonus programsCompany stock program (after 5+ years of service)Additional InformationThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
