There are so many ways to get involved with the Massachusetts/ New Hampshire from fundraising committees to policy and legislation reform to leading your own support groups. The Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter is looking for dedicated running enthusiasts to serve as Volunteer Leaders for Do What You Love to End ALZ™, our signature fundraising campaign that empowers people to turn what they love into meaningful action.We’re looking for energetic, well-connected running enthusiasts to recruit and coach fellow runners to host a fundraising event and get their communities involved in support of Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. You'd be joining a fun local committee of dedicated Ambassadors who have a variety of passions, and are dedicated like you to ending Alzheimer's and all other dementias in honor of their loved ones.Whether you’re part of a running club, organize events, or just love working out, this is your chance to lead with purpose and make a powerful impact.Your Role Will IncludeRecruiting individual runners and running groups/clubs to start fundraisersConnecting with local businesses (e.g., dealerships, shops, clubs) for partnershipsTabling at events, giving presentations, and attending community eventsWriting thank-you notes, sending follow-ups, and celebrating milestonesPhone calls and emails to targeted listsHosting a fundraising event of your own, no minimums requiredRepresenting the Alzheimer’s Association mission with energy and heartWe’ll provide all the training and tools you need to succeed—you bring the passion, connections, and love for the game.Let’s run to end Alzheimer’s.Contact your local staff partner, Meghan O'Neil, at maoneil@alz.org, or visit alz.org/endalzmanh to learn more and get involved!
