Direct patient interaction is provided to patients of all ages.Job DescriptionEssential Functions:Schedules follow up/return visits to our office for patientsObtains appropriate pre-certification and pre-authorizations, as neededSchedules medical tests and procedures for patientsDiscusses patient instructions for procedures with patient so patient has clear understanding of what is expectedCalls patients to schedule procedures and give instructions over phone with follow-up letter with instructionsUses Epic, Centricity Business, online paging systems and retrieves information from other hospital systemsOther FunctionsMaintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conductComplies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all timesPerforms other duties as assigned
