We're seeking a dynamic Counter Sales Associate with HVAC knowledge and a go-getter attitude to join our team. You'll be the bridge between customers and solutions—identifying needs, recommending products, and closing sales with confidence. If you're adaptable, self-sufficient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team.Responsibilities of a Counter Sales Associate:Customer Engagement & Sales - Greet customers and answer calls; identify needs and recommend HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies that best fit their requirementsProduct Knowledge & Promotion Awareness - Discuss features and benefits of merchandise; stay current on promotions and deals to maximize sales opportunitiesOrder Processing & Problem-Solving - Research inventory availability using computer databases, prepare sales/quote orders, process payments, and handle substitutions when neededShowroom & Inventory Management - Maintain organized displays, assist warehouse staff, and coordinate transfers, open orders, and warranty authorizationsMulti-Tasking & Flexibility - Balance counter sales with clerical support, telephone outreach, and warehouse assistance—wearing multiple hats to keep operations running smoothlyOther duties as assigned.Qualifications of a Counter Sales Associate:Prior HVAC experience with basic technical knowledgeExcellent customer service and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quicklyStrong math skills for transactions, calculations, and quotesHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to lift up to 50 pounds (assistance available for 50–75 pounds)Professional and adaptable mindsetForklift certified preferred
