We serve residents of all care levels in our continuing care retirement community. You will learn how to prepare menu items for our different levels of care. Participates in supervision and instruction of Food Service Aides on their shifts; maintains high standards of sanitation and food handling in their work area. The candidate should understand all of the roles in the kitchen. Our main dining room last seating is at 6:30 p.m., making for an early evening when scheduled for the dinner shift.Lake Prince Woods, is an equal opportunity employer.Minimal Education:High school diploma or G.E.D. required.Minimal Experience:1. Six months food preparation experience in a hospital, institutional or restaurant preferred.2. Experience in long term care or health care is preferred.Other Qualifications:1. Certification as a ServSafe Food Protection Manager preferred.2. Ability to read and follow recipes, ability to write, add and subtract.3. Must have good organization skills and be creative.4.
