Clinical Lab Technologist (CLT or MLT)

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) to join a collaborative laboratory team within a well-established healthcare system. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests that support accurate physician diagnoses and patient treatment plans. The Clinical Lab Technologist will work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and reliable test results that support high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and complex laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and blood bankOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipmentAnalyze and interpret laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and reliability before reporting findingsFollow established laboratory procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsMaintain accurate documentation and ensure proper specimen handling and processingCollaborate with physicians and clinical teams to support diagnostic and treatment decisionsParticipate in quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain laboratory standardsAssist with training new laboratory staff and contribute to a positive, team-focused environmentMaintain compliance with hospital policies, CLIA standards, and other regulatory guidelinesQualificationsBachelor s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related fieldASCP or equivalent laboratory certification preferred (or eligible to obtain within a designated timeframe)Experience performing laboratory testing in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting preferredStrong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, procedures, and quality control processesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFlexibility to work assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as neededWhy Join Us?Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work within a respected, patient-centered healthcare systemSupportive and collaborative laboratory environment with experienced clinical leadershipAccess to modern laboratory technology and diagnostic equipmentOpportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and specialty certificationStable and rewarding career supporting high-quality patient care in a critical healthcare setting
