Job DescriptionDeploy and support INFICON semiconductor products, with a focus on our fault detection and classification (FDC) software called FabGuard. At times it will also be necessary to support our broad range of sensors. QualificationsMajor Responsibilities:Deploy and support FabGuard softwarePartner with tool owners to determine which tool data, sensor data, and wafer logistics data to trace in FabGuard, and when it is appropriate to trace those variablesProvide technical assistance for internal and external customersProvide written and oral feedback to the customer on applications work including process troubleshooting, FDC development, and advanced analysis techniquesProvide onsite training on INFICON products including FabGuard FDC software, INFICON hardware usage and basic troubleshootingProvide installation support of INFICON software and hardware as neededQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related scientific field3+ years of semiconductor industry experience with strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and OEM equipment, including lithography, PVD, CVD, Etch, and CMPExperience in Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), computer networking, and factory automation and/or FabGuard products is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdaptable and able to build strong relationships with internal teams and external clientsProven analytical and critical thinking skills for solving complex problemsHighly organized with proficient computer skillsWillingness to travel up to 30%, with additional travel opportunities availableAdditional InformationThe expected salary range for this position is between$100,000 and $150,000 per year.The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10% as well as 401K match up to 8% (vesting schedule).
