We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.Job Summary:Supermicro is seeking a Senior Product Engineer, Software specializing in cloud software deployment and automation to support the deployment, integration, and operational automation of large-scale cloud and AI infrastructure platforms.This role will focus on cloud orchestration software deployment, Kubernetes and OpenStack-based infrastructure automation, and GPU-accelerated cloud platform enablement across enterprise and cloud service provider environments.The position requires deep expertise in cloud infrastructure deployment, Linux-based platform operations, Kubernetes container orchestration, and OpenStack private cloud architecture, along with experience deploying scalable cloud platforms supporting AI and high-performance computing workloads using products such as Supermicro SuperCloud Developer Experience Console and SuperCloud Director.The engineer will work closely with cloud customers, solution architects, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful deployment and operationalization of Supermicro AI cloud platforms.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cloud Platform DeploymentDeploy and configure cloud infrastructure platforms based on Kubernetes and OpenStack for enterprise and cloud service provider environments.Implement automated deployment pipelines for cloud software stacks supporting AI and HPC workloads.Integrate Supermicro systems with GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI model training and inference workloadsInfrastructure AutomationDevelop and maintain automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, cluster deployment, and lifecycle managementImplement configuration management and infrastructure-as-code workflows for scalable cloud deployments.Automate deployment of distributed clusters across multi-node environments.Kubernetes and Container PlatformsDesign and deploy containerized cloud infrastructure using KubernetesImplement GPU-aware scheduling and container orchestration for AI workloads.Optimize container environments for performance, scalability, and reliability.OpenStack Cloud InfrastructureDeploy and manage OpenStack-based private cloud environments supporting enterprise and research workloads.Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes environments for hybrid cloud deployments.Optimize compute, storage, and networking configurations in OpenStack clusters.Cloud Infrastructure OptimizationAnalyze system performance across distributed clusters and optimize resource allocation.Support GPU resource management and cluster-level workload optimizationEnsure reliability, scalability, and security of deployed cloud platforms.Customer Deployment SupportProvide technical leadership and engineering support for cloud infrastructure deployments across enterprise and government customers.Collaborate with customers during architecture design, implementation, and operational rollout phases.Support international deployments across multi-region cloud environments.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with product management, systems engineering, and software development teams to improve automation frameworks and deployment processes.Contribute feedback from field deployments to improve Supermicro cloud software products.Qualifications:Experience8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, platform deployment, or cloud systems engineering.Hands-on experience deploying Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration environmentsExperience implementing OpenStack private cloud platformsProven experience supporting large-scale distributed cloud deploymentsTechnical SkillsKubernetes cluster architecture and operationsOpenStack cloud platform deploymentLinux systems administrationCloud automation and infrastructure orchestrationDistributed cluster deployment and operationsGPU cluster deployment for AI workloadsCloud networking and storage architectureInfrastructure & PlatformsContainer orchestration platformsVirtualization platforms and distributed cloud infrastructureMulti-node cluster environmentsGPU accelerated computing platformsEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fieldPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting AI infrastructure platforms or GPU clustersExperience deploying cloud platforms for enterprise, research, or government institutionsKnowledge of hybrid cloud and multi-region infrastructure architecturesExperience with automation frameworks and scripting for infrastructure deploymentSalary Range$153,000 - $165,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
