This job was posted by https://www.azjobconnection.gov : For moreinformation, please see: https://www.azjobconnection.gov/jobs/7459909Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, performs limited aspects of technical supplymanagement work (e.g., inventory management, storage management,cataloging) related to depot, local, or other supply activities alsoperform field inventory of contracts and equipment received from theFreight Section. Manages all aspects of hand receipt Administration. (a)Maintains property accountability utilizing an automated system toaccount for property. Establishes and updates hand receipts files forunits and maintains accountability by the use of hand receipt documents.(b) Initiates inventory adjustments, change documents and TDA changes.(c) Examines items received and notes overages, shortages, or anydamages incurred in shipping. Prepares correspondence and maintainsfiles pertaining to supply activities. Produces annual and cyclicinventories for unit e-mails. Orders supplies and equipment throughmultiple supply channels to include Post Contracting, Supply SupportActivity (SSA). Issues required supplies and equipment to units.Prepares documentation for turn-ins thru the SSA Turn-in section.Prepares maintenance work orders for DOL Maintenance for propertyturn-in or shipment. Works closely with other supply technicians both inthe Garrison Property Office**,** Stock Control Activity and the SSATurn-In Section. The work includes requirements determination andforecasting, distribution or redistribution of material, procurementauthorization, limited funds management, or other related work. Dutiesare performed on the basis of practical experience in processing andexpediting supply transactions related to the particular organizationsserviced. Works within a framework of established supply regulations,policies, and procedures, or other government supply managementguidelines. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to meet companyand departmental goals and objectives.
