Job DescriptionPosition Title: Cabinet Fabrication Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Thursday, Overtime on Friday) Are you simply working for the weekend? Cabinet Fabrication Responsibilities:Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings and written/verbal instructions Visualizing 3D images from 2D drawings Cutting metal stock to precise specifications using a variety of saws and saw lines Fabricating and assembling products according to predetermined specifications and procedures Setting up and operating fabrication machinery, welding equipment and power tools Producing strong, clean welds using wire-feed welding equipment Performing welding preparation and finishing work prior to paint or coating Conducting pre-job planning to ensure correct materials, tools, and equipment are available Requirements for Cabinet Fabrication:High School Diploma or equivalent Demonstrated experience with welding, sheet metal shears, and common metal fabrication tools Welding certification highly preferred Basic reading, writing, and math abilities Ability to accurate read tape measures and scale rules to within 1/32-inch tolerance Forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision Clear communication skills IND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
