The company is dedicated to supporting systems that help people feel protected, safe, and secure, and offers team members the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical products and services.Role Description The Information Technology Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in the Joplin Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and related systems used in manufacturing and business operations. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, monitoring network performance, managing user accounts and access rights, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive data. The Information Technology Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production systems, manage backups and disaster recovery procedures, and assist with technology upgrades and deployments. The role also involves documenting IT processes, providing technical guidance to team members, and ensuring systems meet reliability and compliance requirements.Qualifications Strong Information Technology and Technical Support skills, with experience maintaining enterprise systems and end-user devices.Proficiency in Networking and Network Security, including configuration, monitoring, and securing LAN/WAN environments.Demonstrated Troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and network issues in a fast-paced production or industrial setting.Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration, Active Directory, and common business applications.Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity best practices.Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to document procedures and configurations.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco) are beneficial.Capacity to work on-site, support occasional off-hours maintenance or issue resolution, and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
