OUR BENEFITSCompany-Paid Health InsuranceEmployer-Funded HRA BalanceCompany-Paid Life InsuranceAdditional Voluntary Insurance OptionsEligible For Annual Pay IncreasesEligible For Bi-Annual Bonuses3% Annual 401(k) MatchPaid Time Off & Company HolidaysCompany-Paid UniformsUp to $500 Annual Tool Allowance$1,000 Employee Referral Bonus Job Title: Truck Electronics TechnicianReports to: Truck Electronics Team Leader / Director of OperationsDepartment: OperationsJob Summary: Responsible for custom electronic installation of customer's trucks.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Support daily functions including, but not limited to:Install electric circuits (wiring) for various electrical accessories including lighting, automatic salting controls, sensors, and switchesUtilize prints and diagrams electrical systems in truck build-up processesRegular communication with Team Leader and Operations Manager to assess assigned job and identify parts and materials required for build upWorking cooperatively and proactively with customersDevelop continual process improvement with managers and co-workersParts delivery and pickupJanitorial work beyond keeping work area uncluttered and sweptWork a 10-hour shift Monday through Friday, and a 4 hour shift two Saturdays a monthOther duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization Required Skills/Abilities:General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up processGeneral understanding of truck componentsGeneral understanding of electrical circuits, including knowledge of laws of current flows as it relates to voltage drop in determining wire size required in various circuitsGeneral mechanical aptitudeAbility to work alone with minimal or no supervisionAbility to use hand toolsFollow all company safety rules and policies and operate equipment in a safe mannerMust be able to read and comprehend written instructions, diagrams, schematics, and printsAbility to effectively perform job functions with input from manager and customersGreat attitude and ability to work with othersGood communication skills, written and verbalKnowledge of computers and various software programs is desirableKnowledge of on-board truck computer controls; including electrical multiplexing and CAN Bus systems is desirable Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentCurrent regular driver's license to move our vehiclesForklift operator certificationOverhead crane operator certificationExperience installing electric components such as lighting and controls, with and understanding of 12v relaysKnowledge and experience in efficient wiring, drilling holes, making connections, and soldering Physical Requirements (representative but not exhaustive):Sitting, crouching, kneelingFit in tight spacesManual finger dexterityHeavy lifting; 50 pounds or moreTwisting, bending, reaching, and stretchingLong periods of standingExposure to shop noise and dustExposure to moving mechanical parts and vehiclesExposure to hot and cold temperatures Core Values:Integrity with a strong moral compassExceptional work ethic with gritTeam player attitudeInnovation RequirementsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC/marijuana), physical, and background check.Must have a current drivers license to move our vehicles.Must be able to work 7am-5pm shifts Monday through Friday and 7am-11am shifts two Saturdays a month.Salary Description
