Job DescriptionClinical Neuropsychologist- Palm Springs, CA (New grads are welcome to apply)Job Type: Full Time (Onsite)Pay Range: $80K - $150K Annually Shifts: Monday - Friday (Days)Job Summary:The responsibilities of the position include running cognitive tests of patients, evaluating patient needs and diagnosing and treating brain-based disorders. Opportunity to develop a specialty in population and/or assessment. Devise experimental treatments for specific brain injuries. Carry out tests of mental faculties and oversee PET scans, MRIs and other scans. Assist patients in reaching their treatment goals. Advise and consult on the development of pharmaceutical drugs that could affect central nervous system functions. Perform evaluative duties and offer expert opinions in a forensic context at legal proceedings.Qualifications/Requirements:Completion of a Doctoral Depress from an APA or CPA-accredited program in clinical psychology (Specialization in Neuropsychology preferred).APA accredited 1 year Predoctoral Internships - preferably 50% Neuropsych.Completion of a 2 year accredited Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology.Current California state license or eligible.Prior experience is preferred, not required.Benefits:All the standard benefits are covered.
