Senior Project Manager | Renewables development

We are partnering with a leading infrastructure developer to appoint a Sr Project Leader responsible for advancing complex energy and digital infrastructure portfolios through to financial investment and construction readiness.This is a high-impact role overseeing large-scale projects across renewables, energy storage, and mission-critical infrastructure, with significant exposure to executive stakeholders and investment decision-making.The RoleLead complex portfolios and individual projects, aligning schedule, budget, risk, and investment approvalsOversee capital programs exceeding $700M+, ensuring delivery readiness and commercial viabilityDrive risk identification and mitigation across development, design, constructability, and financial performancePartner closely with finance and commercial teams to manage budgets, cash flow forecasting, and investment casesCoordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and transmissionManage relationships with utilities, regulators, landowners, and external stakeholdersOversee contracts, land agreements, easements, and project documentation to ensure project bankabilityLead external consultants and contractors to progress projects through key development milestonesPresent project updates, risks, and performance insights to senior leadershipWhat We’re Looking For5–10+ years’ experience in project development essential, infrastructure, or energy marketsProven track record delivering late-stage, large-scale projects to investment decisionStrong understanding of project finance, scheduling, and risk managementExperience working across multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholdersAbility to operate at both strategic and hands-on delivery levelsStrong communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentationsWhy This RoleOpportunity to lead high-value, complex infrastructure projects with real impactSignificant exposure to investment strategy and executive decision-makingWork across a diverse portfolio including renewables, storage, and next-gen infrastructureJoin a well-capitalised platform with strong growth trajectory
