Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through effective behavioral strategies. Responsibilities Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide direct patient care, assisting clients with daily living activities (ADLs) as needed. Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the BCBA to assess client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Engage with clients in a supportive manner, fostering a safe and encouraging environment. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to behavioral health. Skills Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices. Proficient in Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques. Ability to provide patient care with empathy and respect for individual needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
