This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and knows how to turn vision into measurable success.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and communicate a compelling short‐ and long‐term vision for the sales organizationEnsure all sales initiatives align with company goals and market trendsIdentify and cultivate new strategic partnerships and revenue channelsLead development of the annual sales budget, forecasting, and investment planningDefine and communicate clear, measurable objectives for all sales rolesBuild and execute outbound and inbound prospecting strategiesLead change management for new technologies, processes, and initiativesRepresent Feeser's at industry events, conferences, and thought‐leadership opportunitiesDrive innovative sales strategies across existing and emerging channelsAdvance Inside Sales capabilities, technology adoption, and customer growthPerformance ManagementConduct regular business reviews with sales staff to evaluate performance vs. budget and KPIsImplement structured consequence management and improvement plansPresent monthly leadership updates on sales metrics, trends, and strategic insightsBuild strong partnerships with key customers through business reviews and competitive analysisIdentify market trends using data analytics and develop actionable recommendationsOversee beverage department initiatives, new products, and account opportunitiesEnsure CRM adoption and maintain an accurate, actionable sales pipelineCross‐Functional LeadershipPartner with Marketing to promote key vendor and private‐label productsCollaborate with Operations to support new customer onboarding and cost‐efficient serviceWork closely with Finance on analytics, reporting, and margin optimizationCoordinate with Purchasing on cost management, product onboarding, and demand forecastingProfessional DevelopmentCoach and mentor sales leaders and individual contributorsLead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and development of sales talentCollaborate with Strategic and Regional Sales Managers on tools, techniques, and performance driversOversee development and implementation of training programs for new employeesSkills RequiredProven ability to lead and inspire a sales teamStrong cross‐functional collaboration with Purchasing, Finance, Operations, and MarketingDeep experience managing major accounts and building long‐term relationshipsExceptional communication, organization, and attention to detailHigh integrity and transparency — trusted across all levels of the organizationStrong multi‐level account penetration skillsExcellent written, verbal, analytical, and strategic problem‐solving abilitiesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree (required)Minimum 5 years in a senior sales leadership role (required)8–10 years of experience in a sales organization (required)Extensive experience with sales technology tools, including:Online ordering platformsCRM systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPointAI tools such as Copilot or similarPhysical RequirementsAbility to move through various environments, including tight or confined spacesAbility to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsAbility to move between worksites as neededClear verbal communication skillsRepetitive hand and wrist motionsAdequate visual acuity (close, distance, color, depth perception, focus adjustment)If you're ready to lead a talented team, shape strategy, and drive growth for a company with more than a century of success — this is your moment.
