Mid/Senior Java Developer | Contract

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer to join a long-term telecom project. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working with microservices architecture, and ensuring high-performance systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java development, solution design, REST APIs, and modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable backend solutions using JavaWork with microservices architecture and contribute to technical solution designBuild, maintain, and optimize REST APIs and backend systemsSupport delivery through CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practicesWork with containerized environments using Docker and KubernetesApply software security principles and development best practicesCollaborate with team members and stakeholders in a long-term project setupMust-Have Requirements:Proven experience in Java development with a strong technical backgroundExpertise in solution design and microservices architectureHands-on experience building and optimizing REST APIs and backend systemsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and KubernetesKnowledge of DevOps practices and related toolsSolid understanding of software security principles and best practicesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsCollaborative, team-oriented mindsetLithuanian citizenship requiredFluent LithuanianEnglish B2+, written and spokenNice to Have:Experience working on telecom projectsWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
