Contract Certification Engineer📍 North Carolina (Onsite)🕒 Contract Opportunity✈ Aerospace Interiors CertificationiO Associates is currently partnered with a global aerospace organisation and market leader in commercial aircraft seating, supporting them with the growth of their certification engineering team in North Carolina.We are looking to speak with experienced Certification Engineers who have a strong background within aerospace interiors and who can come into a fast-paced environment and add value quickly.This team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and certification compliance of commercial aircraft interior products across both new and in-service aircraft programmes.The OpportunityYou will support the research, planning, and execution of certification activities relating to aircraft interior components, with exposure to a wide range of modification and certification programmes including:Aircraft interiors certificationProduct upgrades and reconfiguration projectsRepairs and modifications for in-service aircraftQualification and compliance testing activitiesRegulatory certification documentation and approvalsThe environment is highly collaborative and suited to engineers who are confident navigating certification processes and working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.What We're Looking ForPrevious aerospace certification engineering experienceIdeally experience within aircraft interiors certificationStrong understanding of FAA certification processes and regulatory complianceAbility to work independently and contribute with minimal ramp-up timeExperience supporting certification programmes for commercial aircraftStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAdditional InformationOnsite role based in North CarolinaLong-term programme demand with multiple openings availablePreference for candidates able to work onsite 5 days per weekMust be authorised to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the futureIf you're interested in hearing more about the opportunity, please apply directly or reach out to iO Associates for a confidential discussion.
