Employer: The Plantation at Ponte Vedra BeachPosition: Housekeeper, Two (2) Positions AvailableJob Type: Part Time, Non-Exempt Hourly (<30+ Hours Weekly)Compensation: $16-18/HourPosting Date: February 5, 2026Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FloridaMultiple Shifts Available**Position SummaryHousekeeping is responsible for the overall Cleaning and upkeep of club facilities and amenities (both indoors and outdoors) at The Plantation at Ponte Vedra BeachEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:Cleans and sanitizes restrooms; restocks restroom suppliesVacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club including dining areasSweeps patio area and dusts patio furnitureEmpties all wastebasketsBuffs floorsWashes windowsShampoos carpetsReports any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the Maintenance teamAssists with inventory control and security.Lock and unlock assigned buildings; secure building when facilities are not in use; check for unlocked doors and windows and turn off lightsTakes trash to dumpsterPolishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handlesMoves furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basisCleans locker room areas including showers and bath areasCleans walls throughout clubhouse as necessaryMaintains outside of clubhouse building (i.e., cleans steps, walkways, patios and entrances)Maintains the pool area including changing rooms and restroomsCleans exterior of HVAC ventsConducts deep-cleaning projectsCleans and sanitize all restrooms on golf course and at revenue outlet locationsAssists with tables, chairs and other furniture needed for special eventsDusts exercise equipmentCleans employee restrooms Attends departmental staff meetings and safety meetingsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)One year of prior housekeeping experienceHigh School Diploma, experience may substitute for educationKnowledge of how to maintain, clean and preserve a wide variety of building and furniture, fixtures and equipment surfacesFollows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies; use as directedKnowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situationsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
