Tax Manager / Senior Manager

Employees working remotely must meet the same performance standards and maintain the same level of communication, collaboration, and responsiveness as those working in the office.Role ResponsibilitiesProvide top‑level review of federal and multi‑state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.Lead teams of seniors and staff accountants.Oversee planning and scheduling of engagements.Ensure quality of work product and monitor workflow.Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to individual team members.Communicate progress to partners.Develop business with existing and new clients, maintaining strong client relationships.Work closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planning.Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs as needed.Manage firm administrative functions and initiatives such as client billings.RequirementsUndergraduate degree; Master’s degree a plus.CPA certificate.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Proficient in the taxation of partnerships, limited liability companies and other flow‑through entities and high‑net‑worth individuals.Strong organizational and management skills.Excellent written, oral communication and documentation skills.Ability to identify and propose resolutions to complex income tax issues.Demonstrated advanced project management skills.Ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service.Excellent research and analytical skills.Strong team player focused on the growth and development of team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of GoSystem a plus.BenefitsBenefits and perks are available to support a healthy, thriving work environment.
