About the CompanyWe have been hired by a 100+ year-old Bay Area HVAC and plumbing company to find an experienced Controller to lead accounting, job costing, and financial reporting for a complex, multi-division operation. They provide services across commercial construction, HVAC, plumbing, engineering, BIM, and service & repair.This role is on-site in Berkeley, CA!About the RoleLead job costing, WIP, and percentage-of-completion accountingPartner with operations on project margins, labor costs, and pricingOversee accounting for construction, service, and maintenance agreementsManaging bank scrutiny, new line of credit, and quarterly financial covenantsManage AR/AP, cash flow forecasting, and internal controlsImprove systems, reporting, and financial processesQualifications8+ years accounting experienceExperience with $10-20M revenue companiesStrong cost accounting, WIP, percentage-of-completion, lien release experienceExperience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, or specialty contractingVista Viewpoint software experience preferredCompensation$120k-$175k/yr+ base depending on experienceYear-end profitability bonus ($5-10k/yr typical)Interviews are starting now, please apply today!Requires the ability to work for any US employer without Visa Sponsorship.
