JS then Spring Boot and then some Mainframe. Candidates will need to pass an Apex tech screen on React. JS and Spring Boot at Sr. Level and also need to have some experience in z/OS. This role focuses on connecting these front-end applications to mainframe assets through established API gateways.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop user-friendly web applications using frontend libraries like React.Process and modify data stored on an IBM z/OS operating system.Utilize IBM z/OS Connect as an API gateway to transform mainframe assets (like CICS, IMS, or Db2 programs) into standard RESTful APIs.Make standard fetch or axios calls from the React frontend to API endpoints without needing to understand mainframe-specific languages.Required QualificationsTechnical Skills: Experience with React, IBM z/OS, IBM z/OS Connect, and creating RESTful APIs is required for this role.
