DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join a dynamic team in the Douglasville, GA. area.Salary Range: $30hr - 35hr (+OT)Base Schedule: M - F, 7am - 4pmBenefits: listed belowCommercial HVAC Service Technician Requirements:5+ years of field experience in Commercial Service requiredDDC / BMS experience a plusExcellent communication and customer service skills are essentialAbility to work as a team member and individuallyDaily travel with independent work structureAbility and willingness to work flexible hours as neededBackground check requiredMust pass MVR check to drive company vehiclesSpecial Knowledge, Skills Abilities:Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprintsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to run copper piping and PVCAbility to organize work and meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with advanced refrigeration circuits, diagnosing, and correcting problems in the refrigerationUnderstands and has mastered the fundamentals of temperature and humidity measurements and control in AC unitsUnderstands the process of treating air so as to simultaneously control its temperature, humidity, cleanliness and distributionAbility to use a psychometric chart to determine the results of mixing air having various propertiesUnderstands and has mastered all types of HVAC systems and how each component within the system operates in conjunction with the other components and how that impacts the overall operations of the system as a wholeThese systems include but are not limited to, air cooled, water cooled, hot water systems, chilled water systems, VAV systems, steam heating systems and building automation control systemsKnowledge of Advanced heat load/loss calculationsKnowledge of Advanced cooling load calculationsBenefits:Company Truck and dispatched from HomeVacation and Holiday PayExcellent benefits package available.
