The ideal candidate can read blueprints, work independently or with a crew, and complete projects with accuracy and attention to detail.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, plans, and measurementsPerform wood framing and general rough carpentryInstall interior and exterior doorsInstall baseboards, casing, crown molding, and other trimPerform finish carpentry with clean, precise resultsAssemble and install cabinetsMake field adjustments for proper fit and alignmentUse hand and power tools safely and correctlyMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow jobsite safety requirementsComplete work efficiently while meeting company quality standardsPrevious experience as a Carpenter is requiredStrong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurementsAbility to read and take action on blueprintsAbility to safely operate hand and power carpentry toolsKnowledge of building regulations and codesAbility to stand for long periods and lift heavy objectsQualifications:Previous experience in rough and finish carpentryStrong xaygatp framing and blueprint-reading skillsExperience installing doors, trim, and cabinetsAbility to take accurate measurements and make precise cutsMust have reliable transportationMust be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionallyAbility to lift construction materials and perform physical work throughout the dayMust work well independently and as part of a teamValid driver’s license requiredPersonal tools preferred
