Courion is seeking an industrial painter, who under the direction of the Gates and Hardware Supervisor will be responsible for painting freight doors.

RequirementsWe are searching for a candidate with:
High School Diploma or GED

Duties and ResponsibilitiesA typical day may include:
Ensure the cleanliness of all freight doors before painting
Removing rust and other loose materials using acid or a wire brush.
Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
Applying masking tape and coverings over areas that are not being sprayed.
Selecting and mixing the required coating liquids.
Spraying freight doors using industry techniques
Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job.
Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried.
Other duties as assigned.
