Intervention Specialists (East Bethel)

Star of the North Academy is accepting applications for Math and Reading intervention Specialists for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must possess instructional skills in math or reading intervention strategies or other related experience with learning intervention strategies. Elementary education license is preferred.Job Description:This position will provide academic intervention and support to general education students with academic skills deficits and/or below grade level performance.Essential Responsibilities Include:· Administers standardized tests in accordance with District testing programs· Small group instruction of basic literacy skills to students K-6· Documenting student progress/activities/outcomes;· Providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.· Assisting in the coordination of Reading and Math Corps programs, Title I and SNA Literacy plans
