We provide community-based health care services that are compassionate, dignified, and culturally appropriate, incorporating social determinants of health, with the goal of breaking down the physical and systemic barriers that our patients face.Job Summary:Hours: Per diem, as needed Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pmUnion: NoUnion Name: Non-unionPatient Facing: YesThe purpose of this position is to provide ongoing assessment, individual and/or group therapy, to adult patients of the OBAT program, along with support services to patients referred to OBAT BH from BHCHP providers and outside sources, such as shelters, treatment programs, and psychiatric hospitals. The Behavioral Health Clinician will provide expertise to providers and others regarding the behavioral health treatment plan in conjunction with the medical needs of our patients in an integrated care model. This is a clinic-based position.Responsibilities: Provides behavioral health assessment and ongoing individual and group psychotherapy to adult patients in a clinic siteProvides crisis evaluations as needed on-siteConnect patients with resources necessary to address needs, such as substance abuse treatment, vocational training, state/federal benefits, housing case management, and legal assistanceMaintains contact and consultation with patients’ medical providers to provide comprehensive careObtains billing authorizations in a timely fashionMaintains up-to-date charting of electronic recordsMeets weekly with manager for individual supervision and monthly for peer group supervisionAttends weekly BH clinical roundsAttends weekly OBAT team meeting and other meetings as scheduledAdvocate and coordinate on behalf of the client with other agencies involved in the client’s life when appropriateLICSW provides supervision to unlicensed clinicians as neededSecondary Duties:Provides documentation for grants, projects, and other areas as directed by supervisorUndertake projects and assignments as requiredParticipate in intra-agency committee(s) as requestedQualifications and Education:Massachusetts LICSW and LMHC preferred, LCSW required or license eligibleMust be licensed or must obtain license within 18 months (for LCSW) or 42 months (for LMHC) of hire date. Candidates working toward LCSW licensure must have filed a license application with the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Social Workers and must not have failed the licensing exam more than onceBilingual in English and Spanish is preferredExperience with the homeless population preferredExperience as practitioner in adult individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapyTraining in substance abuse, trauma, and intimate partner violenceAbility to work with dual diagnosed patients who also have complex medical problemsAbility to be flexible within a changing milieuTake direction wellWorks well with a multidisciplinary team approachCompensation:The compensation increases based on years of experience and ranges from $31.73 - $50.77 per hour; additional compensation for LICSW and LMHCDoes this amazing opportunity interest you?
