Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job DescriptionJob Summary:Experienced OR RN needed to provide patient care in a Level II Trauma center operating room. The role involves supporting various surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adherence to strict protocols.Responsibilities:Administer surgical patient care, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies.Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient assessments and documentation.Support complex procedures including trauma, neuro, ortho spine, general surgery, and robotics.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.Maintain sterile techniques and assist surgeons with operative instruments and supplies.Adhere to regulatory standards, including license and vaccine requirements.Qualifications:Hold an active VA or Compact RN license at the time of submission.Possess at least 2 years of OR experience in a hospital setting.Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC OR Time system and Trauma protocols preferred.BLS certification required; additional certifications may be advantageous.Experience working in a Level II Trauma center is highly desirable.Ability to work night shifts (20:30-07:00), including some holidays.Benefits & Growth:Opportunity to work in a top-tier trauma facility with diverse cases.Enhance skills through exposure to advanced surgical procedures and team collaboration.STRICT RULES:Do NOT include hospital names, facility addresses, pay details, or placeholders.
