Night Custodian - Lincoln School grades PreK-82:30 - 11:00 PM - Monday-FridayUnion/benefited PositionSalary: $24.75/hour (step 1)Potential OT opportunitiesLincoln Public Schools is in search of a building custodian to perform routine manual work in connection with the care and maintenance of school buildings and grounds.Duties include:Clean classrooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas as neededMaintain building supplies for use by students, faculty, and staffPerform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to equipment and buildings as neededSecure buildings at the end of the shiftClear snow and ice on campus walkways and groundsSet up and breakdown classrooms and meeting rooms as neededReport major repair or building operation systems problems to Facilities ManagerPerform other related duties within the scope of the custodial function as requested by the supervisorPerform all work in accordance with safety standardsPosition reports directly to Facilities Manager and Head CustodianQualifications:Completion of high school education or equivalent education and/or experience.Minimum of two years relevant experience preferred.General knowledge of cleaning materials and methods.Ability to perform moderately heavy manual labor, including lift and carry 50 lbs.Ability to climb step and extension ladders.Some level of mechanical ability preferred.Lincoln, MassachusettsLincoln is a residential suburb located 12 miles northwest of Boston.
