Material HandlerAscentec Engineering is seeking Material Handlers! It's an exciting time to join a growing company that has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.These positions are onsite (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin location and are not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.Requirements:Receive materials into stockPick materials and deliver to downstream & upstream, internal customers/departmentsMaintain accurate inventory levelsPerform cycle counts and end of month inventoryMaintain accurate inventory records in a computer systemCoordinate with other staff to meet deadlines in a fast paced, quick turn environmentFinal clean and packaging for a wide variety of productsPrepare all shipping paperwork using EpiCor, UPS and FedEx websitesVerify incoming shipmentsArrange occasional LTL and same-day shipmentsLocal pickup and delivery back-upCoordinate with other staff shipping deadlines in a fast-paced, quick-turn environmentPersonal Qualifications:Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail OrientedReliable and dependablePositive customer focused attitudeEnjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environmentHonest with stellar integrityProfessional demeanor and respectful to people in all situationsFlexible and willing to help others as needs and tasks change oftenTeam playerWorking Conditions:Works in a machine shop environment.May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 60 lbs.The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.Occasional local travel may be required.The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, absent undue hardship.
