Part-Time Stock Person/Customer Service RepresentativeLocation: Gourmet Liquors - Galloway, NJReports to: ManagerAge: 18+SummaryGourmet Liquors is looking to add a part-time Customer Service Representative to our growing team. To be successful in this position you will need to have a passion for customer service. Customer Service Representative answers inquiries about products and attends to wishes of guests, as well as suggestively selling products throughout the store. Must present a positive first impression of the store's cleanliness, excellent in service and high standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeet customer satisfaction through constant and consistent customer serviceCreates a warm and fun atmosphere for both guests and employees.Follows all store and legal guidelines regarding the sale of alcohol, as well as other products at the register.Replenishes shelves to ensure ample product is available.Follows cleaning schedules and department guidelines.Operates the cash register. Performs all related check out procedures. Properly and efficiently bags merchandise.Maintains accuracy during the transaction, ensuring the customer is charged for all items and appropriate funds are collected. Maintains proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures, avoiding overages and/or shortages.Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves, rotated and within easy customer reach. Ensures merchandise is in salable condition with correct prices and signs.May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries.Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
