Key Responsibilities: Land Planning & Entitlements: Oversee the planning and approval process for new and existing land assets, ensuring all regulatory and development requirements are met. Strategic Development: Formulate and implement strategies for entitlements and approvals, coordinating with various consultants to bring projects to fruition. Public Representation: Represent the organization in meetings on annexation, rezoning, and preliminary development plans, effectively communicating our vision. Project Coordination: Address and resolve all entitlement-related issues, including geotechnical, environmental, and utility considerations, to ensure project feasibility. Budget & Design: Prepare detailed proformas and development budgets, and design captivating community amenities like clubhouses, swimming pools, and walking trails. Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years in Urban Planning (design-based), Landscape Architecture, or Civil Engineering. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Sketch-up or other rendering software. GIS knowledge is a plus. Office Proficiency: Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Physical Demands: Communication: Use your verbal skills to effectively interact with team members and clients. Office Tasks: Perform repetitive motions, operate office equipment, and manage materials up to 25lbs. Work Environment: Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional periods of standing and reaching.
