Building Maintenance Technician

Location:** Berwick, PAJob Type:** Full-TimePay:** $19 - $26 per hour (based on experience)Shift:** First (Monday- Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)**Job description**AFC Industries seeking a qualified Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of Ergonomic Interactive Technical products for various industries.This position is responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and general infrastructure to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable performing a variety of maintenance tasks.**Responsibilities** Perform general building maintenance and repairs (painting, drywall, doors, lighting, carpentry). Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and facility-related issues. Conduct routine inspections of building systems and report any problems. Maintain interior and exterior areas of the facility. Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Assist with preventative maintenance of building systems. Work safely and follow company safety procedures. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when needed.**Requirements** 2+ years of building or facility maintenance experience. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC support systems, and general repairs. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts when needed. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
