This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.What You'll DoAll potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Program AdministrationEstablish and maintain standardized process for stipend administrationDevelop and maintain program documentation and proceduresMaintain a centralized database of participants and stipend arrangementsCoordinate with legal, compliance, finance, and program leadership as neededEligibility and EnrollmentVerify eligibility based on program criteriaEnsure that executed agreements are in place prior to stipend paymentsTrack stipend effective dates, renewals, amendments, and expirationsPayment AdministrationCalculate stipend amounts in accordance with approved agreementsCoordinate for timely disbursements of stipendsMonitor compliance with stipend terms, including service requirementsResolve payment discrepancies and program inquiriesMaintain payment schedules and auditsReporting and DocumentationPrepare monthly payment and utilization reports with budget updatesMaintain complete and accurate records for audit and compliance purposesPrepare a yearly comprehensive review report to be presented to the Health Workforce CouncilProvide data and documentation upon requestPrepare applicable tax reporting forms or data requestsStakeholder Communication and SupportServe as primary administrative contact for stipend inquiriesProvide guidance to participants regarding program requirementsCoordinate communication with prospective and active preceptorsSupport leadership with program analysis and recommendationsWhat You'll NeedRequired:5 Years of experience working with healthcare organizations, rural communities, training providers, or public health systemsStrong understanding of workforce development strategies, credentialing pathways, and training program implementationKnowledge of compliance, budgeting, and reporting requirements for state or federal grantsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detailExcellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skillsExperience with CMS-funded programs, federal grants administration, or large-scale workforce initiativesPreferred:Familiarity with Indiana's rural health landscape, including hospitals, FQHCs, EMS, behavioral health providers, schools, and community-based organizationsExperience collaborating with statewide associations, training institutions, or multi-stakeholder coalitionsKnowledge of rural health delivery, care coordination, or health system transformationPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetingsReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or 824 - 8111.$60 - $63 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above.
