Quality Engineer (Conyers)

Position: Quality EngineerLocation: Conyers, GA 30013Duration: 6+ months contract with possible extensionJob Summary:Looking for an Quality Engineer for the division who will assist with investigating and resolving customer complaints.This role will assist in receiving customer feedback and collaborating with other teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, etc) to investigate, understand, and rapidly assist with resolving the issues.This role investigates issues by reviewing production records, conducting data analysis, and preparing summaries to present to other team members.What you'll be responsible for in this role:Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of materials for Quality Review BoardIn collaboration with Service teams, collect and analyze data for customer complaints/issues and warrantyUnderstand customer symptoms and develop problem statements using structured problem-solving techniquesObtain failed components and conduct failure analysis to understand Root Cause of SymptomAssist in reviewing engineering drawings, production records, warranty data, and preparing summaries to develop problem statements and define root causes of failuresPrepare data analysis of field issues using dashboards and researching field informationWhat are the basic qualifications for this role?Bachelor's degree in engineeringProblem-solving and analytic capability/detail-oriented person1-3 years of experience in engineering in a manufacturing organizationTo be a great fit for the role:Experience in Commercial or Industrial refrigerationAbility to assess product performance, develop root cause analysis, and initial problem solving of customer reported issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills for dealing with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers and operationsAbility to work in a cross-functional team environment with a desire to contributeAnalytical and conceptual thinking skills
