Job DescriptionExecutive of Behavioral Health- Relocation Assistance Available! Horizon Health is seeking an Executive Director of Behavioral Health to oversee the Behavioral Health Program Health Source in Saginaw, MI. The unit has a total of 116 beds- 33 bed child/ adolescent unit, 60 bed adult unit, 16 bed geriatric unit, and 7 bed chemical dependency unit. Included in these responsibilities are: 1) the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program; 2) the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program; and 3) strategic planning, program administration, and development. The Program Director will provide supervision to Program Horizon employed clinical and administrative staff.Responsibilities:Performs as liaison between Program, Hospital and Horizon; communicating information and needs appropriatelySupports Hospital and Horizon missions, goals and objectivesProvides leadership and direction in accordance with Hospital guidelinesProvides clinical supervision for Program nursing, counseling, patient support and administrative staffDevelops, in coordination with assigned VP, Clinical Practice, implements and updates all policies and procedures for the ProgramIn coordination with the Hospital, ensures the Program meets and maintains all federal, state, local and accrediting bodies regulations and standardsParticipates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the patientSupervises all patient care and sets guidelines for accurately reporting and recording of patient symptoms, reactions, and progressDevelops processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education to ensure all staff are trained on proper documentation of all aspects of the patients careRecruits, interviews, and selects qualified staff for the Program.Provides for professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans and participation in training programs Defines goals and objectives of the treatment program under the direction of hospital administration and Horizon leadersCollaborates with medical and clinical staff in coordinating and managing the medical and psychosocial treatment plansParticipates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the patientSupervises patient care and set guidelines for accurately reporting and recordingMaintain patient privacyAssure quality of careBenefit Highlights:Competitive CompensationExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Plan401(K) with company match and discounted stock planLong and Short-term DisabilityFlexible Spending Accounts; Healthcare Savings AccountLife InsuranceCareer development opportunities within the companyTuition AssistanceRewarding work environment - Enjoy going to work everyday!About Horizon Health & Universal Health Services:One of the nations largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
