This position requires the ability to deliver exceptional, timely client service while effectively and autonomously managing a book of retirement plans. The abilities to learn independently, create positive and authentic relationships, and act as a community leader are essential to your success in this role.Core ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to and become fully engaged with both existing and new client relationshipsWork with established team members to become acquainted with existing clients, ultimately leading to robust account management of client relationshipsAdvocate for and solve day-to-day client concernsConduct committee, enrollment, financial wellness, and other meetings at regularly-scheduled intervalsManage accounts by responding to client needs, anticipating issues, and proactively providing solutionsEffectively implement available resources to resolve a variety of issues with clients. These may include compliance, DOL and IRS audits, ERISA-related guidelines, vendor websites, contract repricing, and/or plan and contract conversions or terminationsPromote client retention and identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships through timely, high-quality serviceCultivate strong partnerships with both clients and vendorsIncrease Shepherd Financial brand awareness in the retirement marketplaceDiscover individual rollover opportunities that meet our minimum monetary requirements for wealth management clientsPosition ExpectationsAn undergraduate degree and relevant industry designations, including current Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) status (or credential attainment within the first 12 months of employment, per the terms of the Continuing Education Repayment Program)A proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelCompliance with Shepherd Financial's internal policies, including the Work-From-Home Policy and License and Desgination Repayment ProgramBegin each business day no later than 8:30 amWeekly attendance at the retirement plan team meeting on Mondays at 8:00 am ESTReturn or acknowledge emails and phone calls from plan sponsors and participants within 24 hoursDocument all client interactions in Redtail within 24 hoursRefer 12 wealth management and or insurance prospects over the course of a year.Compensation & BenefitsSalary plus incentive-based salary enhancement for new annualized recurring revenue from either retirement plans or wealth management referralsDiscretionary year-end performance bonusPaid time off (Holidays, PTO, Volunteer days), 401(k) match, and medical, term life, and disability insuranceAdditional benefit options: dental, vision, voluntary life, critical illness and accident, LifeLockFinancial support for professional accreditation/license fees and continuing educationMileage and other Shepherd Financial-related expense reimbursement, per the Expense Reimbursement PolicyCell phone reimbursement: $45 per monthPosition Location
