Prepress Operator

Job Description Leading apparel printing company in IL is searching to hire an experienced Prepress Operator for day shift.Responsibilities include:Read and interpret job orders according to client specifications.Pre-flight and troubleshoot client files.Prepare files for output to screen and direct to garment digital presses.Ensure the format and layout of text and images are correct including fonts, colors and layout.Provide a few creative ideas to clients when required.Qualifications include:Minimum of 3- 5 years' production prepress experience.Proficient on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; PC based.Working knowledge with ripping software, Caldera, a plus.Working knowledge of screen and digital printing preferred.Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to details.Good communication skills.Able to multi-task several on-going projects.Individual and team contributor.This is a production position, not graphic design.Day shift on-site position, no remote work.Starting hourly rate $24 - $26/hr + PTO and healthcare benefits.Company DescriptionNationwide, recruiting firm for the Printing & Packaging industries representing premier firms.We treat candidate information in strict confidence.Company DescriptionNationwide, recruiting firm for the Printing & Packaging industries representing premier firms.\r\nWe treat candidate information in strict confidence.
