Job DescriptionSarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is looking to employ an Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine physician for their growing employed physician group. This opportunity is located in Venice, Florida. Venice is just south of Sarasota, along Floridas Gulf Coast and offers 14 miles of beaches, fishing, boating, shelling, and fossilized sharks teeth can be found in abundance by sifting through the sand. Golfers enjoy many excellent courses in the greater Venice area. The area is known for the arts, great restaurants, nationally recognized beaches, excellent schools and a wide variety of activities for all ages.First Physicians Group is Florida's Gulf Coast leader in primary and specialty care with an impressive 32-year history in the community. With 700+ Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in 51 different specialties and 72 practice locations, it is backed by the tradition and strength of Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Venice (SMH-Venice) is a full-service, acute-care hospital. Opened in November 2021, the 65-acre campus serves South Sarasota County with a 24/7 emergency care center (61 beds), over 200 private patient suites, and comprehensive specialized care, including cardiology, orthopedics, and maternity services.
