AMES ATP INSTRUCTOR
The Airborne Tech instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality technical instruction to students enrolled in the Airborne tech program. This position ensures consistent, standards training aligned with program curriculum, safety requirements, and industry.The instructor plays a key role in supporting students' success by providing hands-on and classroom-based instruction, maintaining instructional continuity across cohorts, and reinforcing AMES training standards and policies. This role also contributes to improving student completion rates, preparing students for entry- level technician roles, and supporting the overall stability and growth of the program.In addition to instruction, the role supports program consistency by maintain reliable class schedules, collaboration with program leadership on curriculum delivery, and ensuring a positive and structured learning environment for all students.Required Job SkillsMust have an A&P License2-5 years of hands-on aviation experience in an MRO environment or airline levelHigh school diplomaDemonstrates a high level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and professionalism in all interactionsExcellent computer skills, including proficiency in M S office applications such as word, excel, outlook and teamsEffective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service in an educational contextAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and compliance-oriented educational settingDetailed-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with the capacity to multitask and perform well under pressure.
