Safety Specialist

UPLOAD: COVER LETTER & RESUMEApplicant must have three years' experience in loss control, safety or risk management. Public sector programs highly desirable. Four-year degree and experience in safety inspections, construction, investigations, maintenance, and/or compliance preferred. Experience with database maintenance, presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications required. Valid driver's license and available transportation required to travel to remote sites with the parish. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to diverse groups of professionals and must have a strong independent work ethic. Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, school officials/employees, and state and federal agencies.The background check will be done upon employment recommendation.
