Project Engineer

ResponsibilitiesOversee preparation of contract documents for moderately complex projects, including but not limited to detailed plans, engineering calculations, specifications, etc.Coordinate assignments between task teams and foster teamworkSupport the Project Manager in the oversight and tracking of project progress and budgetCoordinate project activities and submissions with the Quality Management PlanResponsible for supervision of the project team staff Assists with proposals for opportunity pursuitsPrepare scope, schedule and budget for task assignmentsRoutinely interact with clients and stakeholdersProvide technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team membersWork closely with other disciplines and on multi-discipline projectsRequirements: BS in Civil Engineering required; MS preferred PE License required (preferably in NY) A minimum of eight years of Engineering experience with a focus on design (Structural Preferred) Experience with local client base such as NYSDOT, NYCDOT, MTA, PANYNJ, or NYCDDC Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan/calculation production of bridge projects following Federal and State code Ability to work effectively as part of a design team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits: Salary range-$110,000 - $175,000 annually.
