OverviewSenior Technical Writer LOCATION: Hanscom, AFB, Bedford, MASalary Range: $110-117,000 annuallydepending on experience, certifications, and qualificationsJOB STATUS: Full-Time; salariedClearance: Secret clearance requiredAstrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical to directly support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.Required Qualifications / SkillsBachelors degree and 10+ years of experience, with at least five years supporting DoD programsTechnical writing experience within the DoD relative to information and/or business systems environmentAbility to work on technical content for learning about, getting started, using, configuring, deploying, integrating, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting software systems, products, tools, and services. Ability to use and learn to use different authoring, development, and design tools such as GitLab, Website maintenance, Markdown, Javascript, Figma, and Lucid. Ability to work on and use documentation templates, team wikis, SOPs, content for customer support, and various documents requested by multiple mission focus areas in ADCP. Additionally, knowledge management, information architecture, and content design and content strategy skills are all relevant and applicable to contributing to the mission.
