Certified Medical Assistant (Part-time)
Medical assistants provide physician support services that ensure that healthcare facilities run smoothly. They are responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Collect urine for UDT and process correct paperwork to Beechtree. Nurse visitsFollows strict HIPAA compliance guidelines, emergency procedures, medication and F/U protocols, follows MDS, medical waste and body fluid clean up protocolReports directly to Nursing Supervisor RequirementsAvailable to work Tuesday- ThursdayMust be a graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program (usually a 9 to 18-month program) and hold current CMA or RMA certification or equivalent work experience as deemed acceptable by Pearl Health Clinic ManagementMust be BLS certifiedBe proficient in computer typing skills, EMR entry, patient care, and knowledge of medical and medication terminologySalary Description
