Location: Charlotte, NCWork Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week at CIC, Charlotte, NCEmployment Type: ContractDuration: Short-term contract; extension possible based on business needsInterview: Microsoft TeamsJob OverviewWe are seeking a Python Data Science Engineer with C#/.NET who can bridge the gap between software engineering and data science. The application is primarily built using C#/.NET, with Python used for Data Science and AI/ML capabilities.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both C#/.NET and Python, along with a strong understanding of how Python-based Data Science/ML components integrate into enterprise .NET applications.Candidates do not need to be equally strong in both technologies. We are open to strong .NET developers with meaningful Python/Data Science experience, as well as strong Python/Data Science professionals with previous .NET experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using C#/.NET.Develop and support Python-based Data Science, AI, and ML components.Integrate Python/Data Science functionality into .NET applications and enterprise workflows.Productionize and deploy Data Science/ML models into enterprise environments.Collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other technical teams.Troubleshoot issues across both the application and Data Science/ML layers.Work with Oracle and SQL databases for application and data-related requirements.Support deployment and operation of applications and ML/Data Science workloads in cloud/container environments.Participate in development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support activities.Translate Data Science/ML requirements into reliable, scalable production solutions.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with C# / .NET.Strong hands-on experience with Python, including the ability to independently write and understand Python code.Experience working with Oracle and/or SQL databases.Understanding of Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning concepts and workflows.Hands-on experience deploying, productionizing, or operationalizing Data Science/ML models.Experience integrating Python/Data Science components within a .NET application environment.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across application and Data Science layers.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.Skills: data science,c#,python,.net,c,ml,data,application,enterprise,databases,components,engineers
