Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answers, screens, and transfers phone calls
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients, when necessary
Data entry and word processing
Make edits for formatting, clarity, punctuation, grammar, and structure of reports and proposals to company standards.
Managing multiple deadlines and maintaining filing systems as assigned.
Retrieves information as requested from records, email, and other related documents.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with Adobe and creating PDFs
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated, driven, and positive personality, with a great work ethic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
Experience in the Geotechnical, Environmental, or Construction Materials Testing is a plus, but not required.
