Quality Assurance Specialist - 2nd Shift

Direct Marketing Solutions is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. Wherever you may be in your career, DMS could be the place for you!!Summary:The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) works closely with the Laser printing, Mailing, and Bindery teams at Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) to ensure client specifications are met. The QAS uses a basic understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all materials are shipped for production in accordance with established processes.Primary Responsibilities:Verifies that materials produced by a machine match the machine's job ticket.Ensures address blocks and barcodes meet postal regulations.Reviews the font size, quality of print, and populated text of Laser department output.Reviews the fold measurements and tray tags of Bindery department output.Reviews the sealing, postage, and package contents of Mailing department output.Notifies the operator and applicable supervisor immediately when any discrepancy is discovered.Learns all SOPs for the Quality, Mailing, Laser, and Bindery departments.Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceOne to two years' relevant experienceProficiency with common office equipment and Microsoft Office applicationsSchedule Options:* 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm* Overtime required as necessaryPay: Competitive ratesBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance eligibility available 1st of the month following hire.Paid Time Off401k
