Controls Engineer – Pharmaceutical ManufacturingLocation: St. Louis, MissouriWork Arrangement: Initial 2 weeks onsite, then remote (Contract)Job Overview:We are looking for a Controls Engineer to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role will focus on PLC/HMI development, controls design, instrumentation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities:Develop and modify PLC programs using Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix.Develop and configure HMI applications using FactoryTalk View SE/ME.Work with load cells, summing boxes, and industrial instrumentation.Prepare electrical schematics, I/O documentation, and control system drawings.Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Process Engineering, and Project Management teams.Support FEED and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation Engineering, or related field.Experience in industrial manufacturing, automation, or process controls.Strong experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix and Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000.Experience with FactoryTalk View SE/ME.Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD P&ID.Experience with instrumentation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and startup.Pharmaceutical, food processing, or batch manufacturing experience is a plus.Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
